DEFINITIONS

Administrator – WFH Recruitment LTD. We provide retained and contingent, permanent and contract talent search and recruitment services to clients looking to recruit personnel for their businesses. 


Site – Website available at www.workfromhomeremotely.com, including all subfolders and subdomains. This website is the property of WFH Recruitment LTD. 

We take the privacy of all visitors to this Website very seriously and therefore set out in this privacy and cookies policy our position regarding certain privacy matters and the use of cookies on this Website. This policy covers all data that is shared with us by a visitor or candidate whether directly via www.workfromhomeremotely.com, via email, telephone or face to face.


Visitor – Each person visiting the website.


Member – Visitor who has created a member profile on www.workfromhomeremotely.com.


Participant – Visitor who takes part in WFH Recruitment LTD events (webinars, live Q&A sessions, social media etc.).


Services – Includes the WFH Recruitment LTD Dashboard Platform, WFH Recruitment LTD Courses, Work from Home site content and other initiatives available via WFH Recruitment LTD, website(s) and/or social media profiles.


Cookies – Small text information, stored on the Visitor’s end device (eg. computer, tablet, smartphone).

What personal data do we collect about you?
We collect the information necessary to be able to find available opportunities and further information needed to assess your eligibility through the different stages of recruitment. This information includes CV’s, identification documents, educational records, work history, Visa information references and salary/package information.

We may also collect sensitive personal data about you, in the form of personal family data, for example, if it is an international placement that would require relocation of you and your family, what your partner does for a living, would it be easier for him or her to find a job in the new location, if you have any children and their age for relocation and schooling purposes. We only collect sensitive personal data from you, and further process this data, where you have given your explicit consent.


Where do we collect personal data about you from?
The following are the different sources we may collect personal data about you from:
Directly from you. This is information you provide while searching for a new opportunity and/or during the different recruitment stages.
From an agent/third party acting on your behalf. e.g. Contractors Limited Company.
Through publicly available sources. We use the following public sources.
LinkedIn
Job Boards
By Reference or word of mouth. For example, you may be recommended by a friend, a former employer, a former colleague or even a present employer.
Where we collect your information through publicly available sources as set out above, we may do this with the aid of software programs’ such as CW Jobs or OnlyMarketingJobs. These programs’ are given parameters on the requirements of a role and search through publicly available sources to find such candidates. These programs’ are designed to only output information on candidates that meet the search criteria. The parameters of this program are restricted to only searching for candidate information from public sites where there is a reasonable expectation that such information may be collected and further processed by job recruiters for the purpose of sourcing candidates for different job roles.


How do we use your personal data?
We use your personal data to match your skills, experience and qualifications with a potential employer. We will initially collect basic information on you such as contact details, job role, experience, current salary information, salary expectations and then pass this on to the client in search of personnel.

If you are chosen by the client and go through to the next stage we will then be collecting more information from you at the interview (or equivalent) stage and onwards in that manner.


How long do we keep your personal data for?
We keep your information in accordance as follows:
We only retain your information for as long as is necessary for us to use your information as described above or to comply with our legal obligations. However, please be advised that we may retain some of your information after you cease to use our services, for instance, if this is necessary to meet our legal obligations, such as retaining the information for tax and accounting purposes.

When determining the relevant retention periods, we will take into account factors including:
(a) our contractual obligations and rights in relation to the information involved;
(b) legal obligation(s) under applicable law to retain data for a certain period of time;
(c) statute of limitations under applicable law(s);
(d) (potential) disputes;
(e) if you have made a request to have your information deleted; and
(f) guidelines issued by relevant data protection authorities.
Otherwise, we securely erase your information once this is no longer needed.

Who do we share your personal data with?
We share your personal data with the client who has a position to fill, in order to determine with the client whether you are a good fit for the available position.
We may also conduct checks on you to verify the information you have provided.
We always ask for your permission before we send your CV and any other information you have provided, to a client.

What legal basis do we have for using your information?
For prospective candidates, contractors, referees and clients, our processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in that we need the information in order to be able to assess suitability for potential roles, to find potential candidates and to contact clients and referees.

If you are interviewed and submitted as a candidate, then this may involve the processing of more detailed personal data including sensitive data such as health information that you or others provide about you. In that case we always ask for your consent before undertaking such processing.

For clients, we may also rely on our processing being necessary to perform a contract for you, for example in contacting you.

If you do not provide the personal data necessary, or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.

We use cookies to collect your personal data when you browse.

Consent and Information Collection and Use When you register as a user of our Site and Services, we ask for personal information that will be used to activate your account, provide the Services to you, communicate with you about the status of your account, and for other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Your name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card information and certain other information about you may be required by us to provide the Services or be disclosed by you during your use of the Services. You will also be asked to create a user name and private password, which will become part of your account information.

By providing personal information to us and by retaining us to provide you with the Services, you voluntarily consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such personal information as specified in this Privacy Policy. For the purposes of billing your account (if you have a paid account) and in order to process payments, WFH Recruitment LTD utilizes third party payment gateways, such as Stripe, who will utilize your credit card and other payment information in accordance with their respective privacy policies. WFH Recruitment LTD shall not be liable to you or any other person for any damages that might result from unauthorized use, publication, disclosure or any other misuse of such payment information, including credit card information.

When we disclose your personal information to third parties, we take reasonable measures to ensure that the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy are complied with and these third parties provide sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Your personal information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage third party service providers. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in your country. While such information is outside of United Kingdom, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is held, and may be subject to disclosure to the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of such other country, pursuant to the laws of such country. However, our practices regarding your personal information will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy and, if applicable, we will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) requirements providing adequate protection for the transfer of personal information from the EU/EEA to third country.

We may occasionally communicate with you regarding our products, services, news and events. You have the option to not receive this information. We provide an opt-out function within all email communications of this nature, or will cease to communicate with you for this purpose if you contact us and tell us not to communicate this information to you. The only kind of these communications that you may not “opt-out” of are those required to communicate announcements related to the Services, including information specific to your Account, planned Services suspensions and outages. We will attempt to minimize this type of communication to you.


Age of Consent
We do not knowingly provide the Services to, and will not knowingly collect the personal information from anyone under the age of consent. If you live in a country in the EU/EEA, you must be at least 16 years old to use our Services or such greater age required in your country to register for or use our Services. If you live in any other country except those in the EU/EEA, you must be at least 13 years old to use our Services or such greater age required in your country to register for or use our Services. Aggregated Data

We will also add a site banner alerting users who may not be subscribed. If the change materially effects the treatment of your personal data, and we have your email but you are not subscribed to the Company News list, we will send you an email.
